FTT WORLD CUP SPECIAL COMPETITION

Rules & Terms

​

Competition Period

​

The competition runs from 11 June 2026 to 19 July 2026.

​

Eligibility

​

• Open to players aged 6 and above.

• Players compete within their age category and gender category.

• Regular FTT booking terms and conditions apply.

 

Nation Selection

​

• Players must select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice nation when booking.

• Each nation is limited to 15 participants.

• Once a nation is full, it can no longer be selected.

• Nation selections become locked after a player's first session and cannot be changed.

• Choose wisely! Popular nations are expected to fill quickly.

 

The World Cup Drill

​

• Each session includes 3 attempts.

• Each attempt consists of 12 balls.

• Players may participate in as many sessions as they wish during the competition.

 

Scoring

 

Goal Corners

​

• Bottom corners: up to 100 points

• Top corners: up to 150 points

 

Points decrease over time, rewarding quick finishing.

​

Scoring Zones

​

• Green = 100% of available points

• Yellow = 50% of available points

• Red = 0 points

 

Back Net Rule

​

If the player or ball touches the back net, the points awarded for that goal are reduced by 50%.

 

Rainbow Bonus

​

Score in 3 different goal corners during the same attempt and the remaining corner activates Rainbow Mode.

 

A goal scored in a Rainbow Corner receives:

​

• 200 bonus points
  PLUS

• The normal goal value

 

Technical Issues

​

In the event of a confirmed system error resulting in a valid goal not being recorded, FTT may manually award compensation points equal to 60% of the maximum value of the affected goal corner.

​

Nation Rankings

​

Every session contributes points to all 3 selected nations:

​

• Highest attempt score → 1st Choice Nation

• Second-highest attempt score → 2nd Choice Nation

• Third-highest attempt score → 3rd Choice Nation

 

All scores accumulated throughout the competition contribute to the Nation Rankings.

​

The nation with the highest total score at the end of the competition will be crowned the Winning Nation.

​

Individual Rankings

​

Separate rankings will be maintained for:

​

• U6-U8 Boys & Girls

• U9-U11 Boys & Girls

• U12-U14 Boys & Girls

• U15-U18 Boys & Girls

• Adult Men & Women

 

A player's highest individual attempt achieved during the competition will determine their ranking.

​

Overall Top Scorer

​

The Overall Top Scorer competition is separate from the age category rankings.

​

For each session, a player's 3 attempts are added together.

​

Only the highest accumulated session score achieved during the competition will count.

​

Separate awards will be presented for:

​

• Male Overall Top Scorer

• Female Overall Top Scorer

 

Winning Nation Prize Draw

​

All participants representing the Winning Nation will be entered into a random prize draw.

​

Prize details will be announced separately.

​

Tie Breakers

​

If scores are tied:

​

1. Most goals scored

2. Fastest goal scored

3. FTT final decision

 

Leaderboards

​

Regular leaderboard updates will be shared via Instagram throughout the competition.

​

General

​

This competition is designed to be fun, competitive and inclusive for players of all abilities.

​

FTT reserves the right to correct scoring errors, verify results and make reasonable adjustments where required to ensure the fair operation of the competition.

​

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these rules.
